These sculptures were developed while living in Hawaii. I created these works in the storefront studio project titled, The Golden Egret Studio. Within the studio the line between store and museum were blurred. Works that appeared to be wearable clothing items were "beaded" with invasive seeds. Another installation allowed a gown to grow until it smothered the entire store. The final chapter of the storefront project featured "newly discovered species" where taxidermy combined with manmade materials. The storefront project ended in 2006.
