In the past several weeks,I have been learning as much as I can about Green Programs in NYC and beyond. Algae Bio Fuel, solar, and wind turbines that can fit into the architecture of skyscrapers just to name a few topics. Many things that will bring inspiration to my life and work.
Return to Murals
I will again be available to work as a muralist. This time I will be accepting commissions in the New York city area. Research Trip to MIT and Harvard
This past week I made a quick but inspiring trip North to investigate the museums and bookstores of these two universities. I was struck by the Peabody's Oceanic collection, enjoyed seeing Roni Horn aka Roni Horn at a second museum location (ICA) and stocked up on books relating to microscopic marine life Alien Ocean Anthropological Voyages in Microbial Seas (MIT) the exhibit catalog for the Sanfrancisco art exhibit Moby Dick (Harvard) the catalog Dialogues-Duchamp Cornell Johns Rauschenberg (Harvard) Every Living Thing (MIT) as well as a wonderful book on innovative approaches in film/video documentaries Documentary Display Re-viewing Nonfiction Film and Video (Harvard)
